Playing at Stoffel Festival, Frankfurt

This summer I played at Stoffel Festival, Frankfurt for the first time and had 5 gigs with 3 different bands there.
I had a great time on stage as well as off stage and I want to thank Mika Setzer, mikroHerz and the Allsternband for that.
Special thanks to Filippo and the whole crew who did an awesome job and make me feel very comfortable. Hope to see you again next year!

Century’s Crime – First Show

This video shows my first gig of Century’s Crime, a professional Supertramp Tribute Band I recently joined.
As you can see the band brings on stage authentically the typical Supertramp sound arrangements, in fact in the original 5 piece band setting. If you like the video, please visit our Facebook page and show us you like it 🙂

I joined a new band!

I’m very happy to announce that I’m the bass provider of the just founded Supertramp Tribute Band called Century’s Crime.
Although the band was born only a few weeks ago we will play the first show already on July 3rd and a bunch of more shows are confirmed by now. Please check the growing list of dates on the frequently website and see us perform all the timeless hits like Dreamer, School, Breakfast in America, Goodbye Stranger, It’s Raining Again, The Logical Song and many more.

My Schack Unique V signature bass

I proudly present “Red Zora”, my new Schack Unique V signature bass. She is a dream to play, sounds just fantastic and beside this she looks awesome.
My heartfelt thanks to Nico Schack from Schack Guitars for the best bass I’ve ever put my hands on.
As you can see, I already love it! 🙂Joerg & Rote Zora

At the London Bass Guitar Show with Schack Guitars

On March 12 & 13 the London Bass Guitar Show took place the Olympia London, organized by the Bass Guitar Magazine.
I was there with Nico Schack from Schack Guitars as exhibitor and we had a fantastic time there!
It was great to meet so many outstanding bass players on one spot and the feedback from them on our basses was beyond expectations. I’d like to thank everyone who visited us on our booth and special thanks to everyone involved at the Bass Guitar Magazine for organizing this great event! We will be back next year!

THE GROOVE COLLECTIVE

THE GROOVE COLLECTIVE – That’s the name of my new musical project.
I put together this club- and event-band from musicians who I’ve been playing with here and there for years and who are on top of my personal favorites. I’m very happy that they answered my call to form the regular band together with me on bass that will be extended by singers and other professional musicians, depending on what the actual show requires. „Like“ the Facebook page now to be with us from the beginning and ensure to not miss anything. More news coming up very soon.. Logo The Groove Collective_light_on_dark_hq

True Collins Live Video

I’m a founding member and bass player of TRUE COLLINS, Germany’s most authentic Phil Collins and Genesis tribute band. Since 10 years I’ve been playing a lot of great shows with this fantastic band and will continue doing so. Our latest promotion video (live) gives you an impression on what our shows are like. I hope you enjoy it!

You Groove – They Move…

Shortly before the bass event “Feel The Bass” that Schack attended in October, I created a slogan for a shirt that Nico Schack had designed. The slogan I liked the best is my definition of the Groove: You Groove – They Move. You Don’t – They won’t.
It may sound simple, but to me this is the essence of what Groove is about. I’m pretty sure a lot of you musicians agree to that, especially bass players 😉

If you want to show your passion for the groove get your shirt for just 19,90 € (M-XXL, free postage & shipping within Germany, international orders: terms of delivery on request, varies by country). To place your order just send an email to info@schack-guitars.de
