I proudly present “Red Zora”, my new Schack Unique V signature bass. She is a dream to play, sounds just fantastic and beside this she looks awesome.
My heartfelt thanks to Nico Schack from Schack Guitars for the best bass I’ve ever put my hands on.
As you can see, I already love it! 🙂
On March 12 & 13 the London Bass Guitar Show took place the Olympia London, organized by the Bass Guitar Magazine.
I was there with Nico Schack from Schack Guitars as exhibitor and we had a fantastic time there!
It was great to meet so many outstanding bass players on one spot and the feedback from them on our basses was beyond expectations. I’d like to thank everyone who visited us on our booth and special thanks to everyone involved at the Bass Guitar Magazine for organizing this great event! We will be back next year! Here you find some pictures of our stand…
I’m a founding member and bass player of TRUE COLLINS, Germany’s most authentic Phil Collins and Genesis tribute band. Since 10 years I’ve been playing a lot of great shows with this fantastic band and will continue doing so. Our latest promotion video (live) gives you an impression on what our shows are like. I hope you enjoy it!
The “Feel The Bass” show last Sunday was a huge success. Thanks a lot to all of you who visited the Schack booth. We are more than happy to get so much positive feedback on our basses, especially on our brand new features we showed there for the first time. That’s a great appreciation for what we are doing. Check out some pictures here
At this years “Feel The Bass”, THE event for bass players in Germany, Schack will present some of their basses which are equipped with new cool and usefull features for the first time. I will be at the booth to present the instruments and to have a coffee with you 🙂
Visite us on the 1st floor to check out our instruments and to see what else we brought for you.
Jamming is welcome 🙂
This is how I love it: in the end of June I played 9 shows within 11 days from Calw in southern Germany to Kiel in the very northern part of Germany. This meant about 2.500 km and long hours on the road but although it meant a lot of fun and great moments on stage with TRUE COLLINS, Miss Kavila and Traumbild, a new German pop act that I’m on promotion tour with currently.
The highlight for me was the True Collins show feat. The Brass-Connection at the end of this “tour” in my home area. Now I take a break from gigs until next Saturday…
I guess it’s no secret that I love my Schack Guitars basses and the guys who build them.
Since 1992, when I got my first Schack Guitars bass, I’ve checked out many basses made by other great luthiers and companies, but none of them made me want to switch over. I’m sure that our 22 years relationship will go on for quite a long time 😉
If you want know a bit about the history and the corporate culture of Schack Guitars and want to get a inside view of the work of master luthier Nico Schack, check out this video (click for English subtitle. Produced by Adstore):
As I allready mentioned in the last post, I’ve just picked up my new Schack Guitars bass!
I immediately fell in love with it when I picked it up at Schacks’s open house presentation last Sunday and I really got to have it. To me it sounds, feels, plays and looks amazing! Of course it sounds different from my other Schack basses but it’s exatcly that difference I was looking for. It’s “only” a 34″ scale but the low B string is awesome. You got to check it out yoursef! 🙂
Nico Schack organized that open house presentation to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Schack Guitars. The company was found by his father Andy Schack and Nico took over business two years ago. It was a cool event with a lot of old and new friends of Schack Guitars. I was there to celebrate, to check out Nico’s latest creations and to play a little gig with one of my bands, Rock It. It was fun and in furthermore I fell in love with 5string that just was finished. And guess what? I picked it up the Schack’s shop today… 😉
Don’t miss it! It will be a great opportunity to check out the great handcrafted basses and chat with the luthier himself.
There will be basses from the brand new exclusive 30th Anniversary-line presented for the first time!
I’ll be around the whole day and will play a set of rock song with the Band RockIt in the evening.
So go and check out Schack Guitars on Facebook and if you like it, please like it 😉
