On March 4th & 5th I was at the London Bass Guitar Show again with Schack Guitars. Although the show has grown from last year in every aspect it still has a very nice vibe and a family atmosphere.
Visitors’ interest in our instruments was enormous and we good very positiv feedback on our basses from some world class player. So for Schack Guitars it was a big success.
I personally had a great time meeting and hanging out with a lot of friends, old and new ones, and meet some of my bass heroes.
This video should give you an short impression on what was going on there.
I’m already looking forward to the London Bass Guitar Show in 2018 and it would be a pleasure meeting
It’s been over 2 years since I last played at Wolf Codera Session Possible and so I was very happy when I got the call from Wolf Codera last December who said we wanted me again for one or two shows in early 2017. As we talked it became clear that I would not only be the bass player at that sessions but also the musical director at three gigs in three different locations.
That means I picked the musicians from my network, choose the songs from the vocalists repertoire, put together the setlist for each gig et cetera. The musicians I formed the band from without one exception had never played at a Session Possible before and so we were all pretty excited about it would work out. Actually it worked very well and the band played together as a great team so it was comfortable for the various vocalists to perform on top of it.
Each gig was a success and everybody was having a great time.
I want to say thank you to Wolf Codera who made it all possible 😉 and to
– Stephen Denbrock (drums)
– Stefan Kahne (guitar, vocals)
– Dario Karkovic (keyboards, vocals)
– Markus Zimmermann (keyboards, vocals)
– Tamara Bencsik (the only singer singing at all three gigs)
– Mirjam von Eigen
– Viktoria Miller
– Tiffy Aris
– Rino Galiano
We all enjoyed it very much and we can’t wait to do that again.
Hope to see you all soon.
It was an awesome experience playing a show with Century’s Crime in front of so many true Supertramp fans last Saturday. They did not only know all the lyrics, some of them even could sing the part of certain instruments along 🙂 Check out our Facebook page and make sure to see us perform live next time!
This summer I played at Stoffel Festival, Frankfurt for the first time and had 5 gigs with 3 different bands there.
I had a great time on stage as well as off stage and I want to thank Mika Setzer, mikroHerz and the Allsternband for that.
Special thanks to Filippo and the whole crew who did an awesome job and make me feel very comfortable. Hope to see you again next year!

This video shows my first gig of Century’s Crime, a professional Supertramp Tribute Band I recently joined.
As you can see the band brings on stage authentically the typical Supertramp sound arrangements, in fact in the original 5 piece band setting. If you like the video, please visit our Facebook page and show us you like it 🙂
I’m very happy to announce that I’m the bass provider of the just founded Supertramp Tribute Band called Century’s Crime.
Although the band was born only a few weeks ago we will play the first show already on July 3rd and a bunch of more shows are confirmed by now. Please check the growing list of dates on the frequently website and see us perform all the timeless hits like Dreamer, School, Breakfast in America, Goodbye Stranger, It’s Raining Again, The Logical Song and many more.
On March 12 & 13 the London Bass Guitar Show took place the Olympia London, organized by the Bass Guitar Magazine.
I was there with Nico Schack from Schack Guitars as exhibitor and we had a fantastic time there!
It was great to meet so many outstanding bass players on one spot and the feedback from them on our basses was beyond expectations. I’d like to thank everyone who visited us on our booth and special thanks to everyone involved at the Bass Guitar Magazine for organizing this great event! We will be back next year! Here you find some pictures of our stand…
The Kiel Week (German: Kieler Woche) is an annual sailing event in Kiel, Germany. It is the largest sailing event in the world, and also one of the largest carnivals in Germany. It is held annually in the last complete week in June. Music lovers can enjoy about 300 concerts on 16 stages distributed over the city for free!
The stage that True Collins has been played for 6 years in a row is Maxstage (Maxbühne) right at the main station forecourt. The view from the stage to the crowd in front and the Volksfest and the carnival and harbor on the left is awesome.
I enjoyed it very much also in this year even though it had become pretty cold at night and it was raining a little bit. But that’s almost typical for that part of Germany :-).
To give you an impression on how it was here are two videos from 2014 and 2013. I hope you enjoy it!
