It’s been over 2 years since I last played at Wolf Codera Session Possible and so I was very happy when I got the call from Wolf Codera last December who said we wanted me again for one or two shows in early 2017. As we talked it became clear that I would not only be the bass player at that sessions but also the musical director at three gigs in three different locations.
That means I picked the musicians from my network, choose the songs from the vocalists repertoire, put together the setlist for each gig et cetera. The musicians I formed the band from without one exception had never played at a Session Possible before and so we were all pretty excited about it would work out. Actually it worked very well and the band played together as a great team so it was comfortable for the various vocalists to perform on top of it.
Each gig was a success and everybody was having a great time.
I want to say thank you to Wolf Codera who made it all possible 😉 and to
– Stephen Denbrock (drums)
– Stefan Kahne (guitar, vocals)
– Dario Karkovic (keyboards, vocals)
– Markus Zimmermann (keyboards, vocals)
– Tamara Bencsik (the only singer singing at all three gigs)
– Mirjam von Eigen
– Viktoria Miller
– Tiffy Aris
– Rino Galiano
We all enjoyed it very much and we can’t wait to do that again.
Hope to see you all soon.
It was an awesome experience playing a show with Century’s Crime in front of so many true Supertramp fans last Saturday. They did not only know all the lyrics, some of them even could sing the part of certain instruments along 🙂 Check out our Facebook page and make sure to see us perform live next time!
This summer I played at Stoffel Festival, Frankfurt for the first time and had 5 gigs with 3 different bands there.
I had a great time on stage as well as off stage and I want to thank Mika Setzer, mikroHerz and the Allsternband for that.
Special thanks to Filippo and the whole crew who did an awesome job and make me feel very comfortable. Hope to see you again next year!

This video shows my first gig of Century’s Crime, a professional Supertramp Tribute Band I recently joined.
As you can see the band brings on stage authentically the typical Supertramp sound arrangements, in fact in the original 5 piece band setting. If you like the video, please visit our Facebook page and show us you like it 🙂
THE GROOVE COLLECTIVE – That’s the name of my new musical project.
I put together this club- and event-band from musicians who I’ve been playing with here and there for years and who are on top of my personal favorites. I’m very happy that they answered my call to form the regular band together with me on bass that will be extended by singers and other professional musicians, depending on what the actual show requires. „Like“ the Facebook page now to be with us from the beginning and ensure to not miss anything. More news coming up very soon..
I’m a founding member and bass player of TRUE COLLINS, Germany’s most authentic Phil Collins and Genesis tribute band. Since 10 years I’ve been playing a lot of great shows with this fantastic band and will continue doing so. Our latest promotion video (live) gives you an impression on what our shows are like. I hope you enjoy it!
This is how I love it: in the end of June I played 9 shows within 11 days from Calw in southern Germany to Kiel in the very northern part of Germany. This meant about 2.500 km and long hours on the road but although it meant a lot of fun and great moments on stage with TRUE COLLINS, Miss Kavila and Traumbild, a new German pop act that I’m on promotion tour with currently.
The highlight for me was the True Collins show feat. The Brass-Connection at the end of this “tour” in my home area. Now I take a break from gigs until next Saturday…
Last Tuesday we had a little gig with Mariam Michael & Band at the Orange Peel, Frankfurt.
We played to promote her debut single “Hot’n Tasty” which is available for download on iTunes and other major download platforms.
The response we got from the audience that night and later on is very promising and we are motivated to take the next steps…
On Sunday May 17th I once again had the great pleasure to be a part of the backing band for Tom Gaebel and for Thomas Anders as well. Together with a bunch of very nice colleagues I had a lot of fun at these 2 appearances on the Sunday morning live open air TV-show called Fernsehgarten .
From Feb. 4th – Feb. 7th I had the pleasure to play at the Art On Ice Golden Circle After Show Parties with the band Hot’n Cool in Zurich again. Art on Ice is the awesome interplay between Olympic and world champions on the ice and international music stars performing live on stage. This time Tom Odell, Marc Sway and Nelly Furtado where the musical top acts of the show. Check out some pictures here.
I hope to be back at Art On Ice next year!
